After lunch proceed to Kumbakonam, on arrival check in at heritage resort set in typical south indian village style. Evening walk around the resort or take a short ride in the bullock cart. Visit a shop where bronze sculptures are made.

After breakfast at hotel proceed on a guided tour of Gangaikondacholapuram and Darasuram ( 3 hours visit). Return to the resort at Kumbakonam. After lunch checkout and proceed to Tanjore. On arrival at Tanjore proceed on a guided tour of Tanjore visiting the palace, bronze museum, saraswati mahal library, brahadeeshwara temple. Continuation to trichy (1 hour drive). On arrival at Trichy checkin at hotel.

After dinner visit night ceremony at meenakshi temple.

After lunch checkout and proceed to Periyar (04 hrs) drive. Arrive periyar and checkin at hotel. Evening free to walk around Periyar and for spices shopping.

Early morning visit Periyar wild life sanctuary, game viewing by boat on lake Periyar. You can spot some wild animals like elephants, deers, monkeys, rare bird species. Return to hotel for breakfast. After lunch proceed on a guided tour to spices plantations or just relax at the hotel.
